How Callable Studio collects, uses, and protects information for accounts, published lines, and calls.
What we collect
What we collect depends on how you use Callable Studio.
- Account: your name and email address.
- Published lines: the brief you wrote, the prompt it produced, and the phone number you bind to it.
- Calls: the audio recording, the transcript, the caller’s number, call metadata, and a per-call cost receipt.
- Site: technical data such as browser and device information. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a few clicks without cookies or cross-site identifiers. It also loads advertising pixels from X and Meta to measure which ads lead to sign-ups. Those pixels set cookies and send page views to X and Meta. The dashboard at dashboard.callable.studio loads the Meta pixel too, and there it also reports when you sign up, submit a lead, or buy credits; see its own privacy notice for the details.
How it is used
We use what we collect to run the line you published, keep your account working, and show you the transcript and the cost receipt for every call.
We also use it to find and fix problems — for example, when a call fails or a published line stops answering.
The advertising pixels on this site are used to measure which ads lead to sign-ups.
Who processes it
A published line uses providers chosen for hearing, deciding, speaking, and carrying calls. Today’s default stack: Soniox and Deepgram for hearing, OpenAI, Gemini, and Grok for deciding, Cartesia, ElevenLabs, and Inworld for speaking, and Twilio and Telnyx for carrying calls. The builder can choose a different provider for any role on a given line.
Hosting and payments run on general-purpose cloud hosting and payment processing providers, not on the providers above.
Ad measurement runs through X and Meta. Sharing page views and those sign-up and purchase events with them for ad measurement counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under US state privacy laws. We do not sell personal data.
Call recording and consent
If you publish a line, you decide what it says and does, and you are responsible for the number you bind to it.
You are also responsible for telling callers when a call may be recorded and for getting their consent where the law requires it. Whether consent is required, and in what form, varies by jurisdiction — check with your own counsel or staff before you publish a line that records calls.
Retention and deletion
Recordings, transcripts and cost receipts stay in your account until you delete them or close the account; recordings are moved to cold storage after 90 days and deleted no later than seven years after the call.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Callable claims no compliance certifications; every published Callable runs on its own dedicated server, shared with no other Callable.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your account information at any time.
You can also ask us to delete recordings, transcripts, or cost receipts tied to your account.
The advertising pixels do not load when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, and the dashboard never loads the Meta pixel for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Your browser’s tracking protection or an ad blocker also keeps them from loading, and X and Meta let you limit ad personalization in your account settings with them.
Changes
We may update this notice as Callable Studio changes. The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed.
If a change is significant, we will tell account owners directly rather than only updating the date.
